KUALA LUMPUR — AI SPECULATIVE FUTURE

KUALA LUMPUR — AI SPECULATIVE FUTURES AI Video · Speculative Architecture · Pre-Design Research · 2026 Kuala Lumpur — AI Speculative Futures explores generative AI and AI video as experimental tools for architectural pre-design and urban imagination. The project reimagines the Petronas Towers district and the wider urban landscape of Kuala Lumpur as a continuously evolving bioclimatic city. Existing architecture merges with vertical vegetation, fluid structures, elevated landscapes, water systems and speculative public spaces, creating alternative relationships between nature, infrastructure and dense urban life. This is not presenting a fixed vision of the future, the project uses AI-generated images and video as a form of visual research — a way to rapidly explore architectural possibilities before conventional design begins. The film moves between aerial views, streets, interiors and transformed landmarks, creating a speculative journey through a Kuala Lumpur that exists somewhere between the real city and an AI-generated architectural dream.
