Glitch, Venom, Loop: The Digital Condition
This series explores the fragile boundary between human consciousness and digital systems, revealing a world where reality, perception, and emotion are subtly manipulated. Each piece examines a different facet of a post-human, algorithmic landscape, examples: Soft Glitch captures the beauty and tension of tiny, almost imperceptible errors that quietly distort reality. Digital Venom visualizes the slow, toxic spread of information that shapes behavior and thought. Neural Distress Loop and Recursive Runtime depict minds and systems trapped in endless cycles of stimulation, feedback, and repetition. Engineered Addiction and False Euphoria examine how pleasure and desire can be designed, monetized, and weaponized. Latent Dystopia and Soft Oppression reflect a subtle, invisible control that erodes freedom and autonomy without overt force. Through glitch, decay, and recurring patterns, the works illustrate a world of controlled instability, where beauty, pain, and artificiality coexist — forcing the viewer to confront the consequences of a reality increasingly mediated by technology, algorithms, and systemic influence. This work encapsulates a reality where our minds and systems are shaped by imperfection, toxicity, and infinite repetition. It’s a poetic, dystopian reflection on how digital environments alter perception, behavior, and identity.
